Fungsionalisasi Kepemimpinan Pesantren: Perspektif Quran Surah Sad ayat 26
Abstract
One of the factors supporting the success of managing and empowering Islamic Education institutions including Islamic boarding schools is the leadership factor. The reason is because leadership has a strong driving force to encourage, direct, communicate, and influence the behavior of others to make it more meaningful and functional. In pesantren leadership, this can be realized if pesantren leaders are willing to apply open management and know their function as pesantren leaders. The results of the author's research using the descriptive-quantitative method found data that in this way was apparently able to encourage pesantren residents to work together and work together optimally, actively and effectively. This conclusion is obtained by describing the formulation of the problem whose results are then analyzed and tested using the associative hypothesis. From this, information is obtained that in order for pesantren leadership to function optimally and effectively, pesantren leaders must apply a type of democratic leadership, among which what can be offered is Democratic- Transformative, Democratic-Responsive, and Democratic-Educative.
